I work from my studio in West Sussex. I am originally from
Nottingham where I studied art. I have experimented with
lots of different mediums, but have a passion for silk
painting. I love the translucent texture of silk which
illuminates and projects colour and lends itself perfectly to my landscape and floral paintings.
I
also
incorporate other materials into my paintings, such as acrylics, pastels and
metallic paints, as well as using a batik effect,
which gives my work a three dimensional feel.
As well as selling my
work online, I have sold my work through galleries and outlets across the
country, including private commissions, and have generated many sales
through repeat business. I also produce a range of funky animal art for
children, which can be found on my other website:

I also have experience of
painting
wall murals
and was commissioned earlier this year to
paint a large mural for the local school encompassing their values in the
form of an oak tree (please se photos below).
